Our Mission

The Gassaway Public Library believes it is essential to provide materials and services which will enable community residents to obtain information meeting their personal, educational and professional needs. The library shall serve as a center for learning and enrichment for all residents of the community regardless of age level. The collections shall reflect broad subject coverage with materials acquired in a variety of formats, including the use of information technologies. In addition, the library shall serve as an entry point for other roles not yet emphasized or developed.

The Board of Directors of the Gassaway Public Library generally meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Library but meetings are subject to change. Next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, December 10. Contact the library for more information.
